When Bad Things Happen: Media Round Up

Here I am in The Daily Mail.

And The Guardian.

And if you are not saturated enough with all this (I am!), I was interviewed by the lovely Claudia Winkleman for her Radio 2 Arts Show, broadcast on Friday nights. I appear forty-nine minutes in, and you can catch the programme here.

I knew your book was being published and promised myself that I would put it on pre-order with Amazon. But guess what widow brain set in and I forgot. Then I saw your face book post and after slapping the forehead and calling myself names went on Amazon to order the book.
But in one of those moments of I cannot possible wait for it to be delivered tomorrow downloaded it at 10pm yesterday. I have just turned the last page and am so glad I did not wait!
I am one of the WAY folks and remember some of the discussions you mention along with a host of the journey milestones. love your writing style and the under lying humor.
This could so easily have been a "woo is me" type read but is just a wonderful story of the beginning of a journey.
Thanks for undertaking this task and reminding me how amazing widows (well most of them) can be.

Thank you Christine! Really appreciate your 'review'. The book certainly isn't a misery memoir - well, some of it is - but I hope it is enjoyable too. x
